The Camera Settings can be accessed as following: Open Live Video of the camera -> tap the Settings button in top right corner -> You’ll see a list of options. Tap an option to check or change it.
Note: On the Device List page, the settings button for each camera is only for information like UID (Ubox camera ID) or deleting the camera, not for changing camera settings.
Open Live Video of the camera -> tap the Settings button in top right corner -> You will see the option list, tap ‘Device Name‘ -> you can update camera name and tap Apply button.

– Check your email for a message from UBIA (notifier@ubianet.com) with the subject ‘Please confirm verification code.’ Find the verification code in the email and enter it into the app, then tap ‘Next‘
– Now you can set your new password by entering it twice.
– You will see the login page again. Delete the old password if there is, enter your new password, and tap the ‘Login’ button.
– You should be able to log in to the app now.
Note: If you don’t receive the email with the verification code, please contact our support at support-us@kinetcam.com, and we will reset it for you.
Video delay is typically caused by weak WiFi signal strength. Here’s how to troubleshoot:
– Check your camera’s location:
If installed outdoors: Consider adding a WiFi repeater near the installation area to boost signal. Alternatively, temporarily move the camera indoors closer to your router for testing
– Test the live video after adjustment:
If performance improves, this confirms the original location has weak WiFi signal. If no improvement, please contact our support team for further assistance.( support-us@kinetcam.com)
Recording to microSD Card
The M3 model supports microSD card from 4GB to 128GB.
(microSD card is not included in the box)
Here is how to install the card to the camera:
1. We strongly recommend to format the microSD card to PC first before using it in camera. You can format the card to FAT32 or exFat format.
2. turn off the camera by set ON/OFF button to OFF.
3. Insert the card to the camera. Make sure the metal contacts on the microSD card are facing theUSB interface.
Like below,
3. turn on the camera.
Open Live Video of the camera -> tap the Settings button in top right corner -> You will see the option list, tap ‘Activity detection‘ -> turn OFF Motion Detection. When Motion Detection is OFF, Alarm Event SD Card Recording is stopped too.
Open Live Video of the camera -> tap the Settings button in top right corner -> You will see the option list, tap ‘Cloud Video Duration‘ -> change to ‘Fulltime recording’
Important note:
– Camera will consume battery at full speed when doing ‘Fulltime recording’. A full recharge of M3 Model could support about 11 hours of recording.
– It is strongly recommended to keep the camera plugged in for continuous recording.
The camera support Auto Looping on the SD card recording.
When the SD card is almost full, the camera will delete the oldest recordings automatically, then write new content on the SD card.
